 Deep in the heart of the forest, in the mountains, a battle had occurred between two different species of creatures, over the blood of one girl. The girl, promised to her beloved, was hunted by his kind, protected by another.
Now, with her wedding only days away, this girl, Isabella Swan, could not be more terrified. Not of the upcoming nuptials, but rather changing. As part of her holy matrimony, Bella will become what had hunted her for so long. She will become like her love, Edward Cullen.
She will become a vampire.
Now, Bella's not so sure she wants to make that commitment. Especially since she's seen what it does to people. She's seen what it's like to be a newborn.
The Cullens have a new member in their family. A girl, Andie, was bitten by a newborn just before the war. She suffered the change alone, and it didn't take long for Carlisle to find her and take her in.
Jacob Black, a werewolf, fought for Bella against the vampires. Before the war, he had been following his pack, and had a small fling on the side. Between losing his interest, and feeling he's going to lose Bella as well, he left.
Everything is spiraling out of control. Will Bella back out of the wedding, or will she be changed at the demands of the Volturi? What will happen when Jacob sees Andie as a vampire for the first time? Will a growing coven of Vampires expose their secret?
Fate will decide.
