Date of Birth;; May 17th
Age;; 20
Eye color;; Blue
Hair color and texture;; brown and straight/wavy?
Height;; 5'7"
Weight;; 125lbs

And everything that you thought you can’t forget;;
Jimmy has a fairly plain look to him. He isn't really someone that would make other people stop on the street and stare in awe or wonder. He is of average beauty. He is not stunningly handsome, not overly tall or muscular. He's a touch on the skinny side because of illness, but he tries to keep as much weight on as possible. He tends to keep a little bit of facial hair on, whether it's a beard and mustache or just a big of five o'clock shadow. His skin is slightly papery and he has several tattoos on his body that you'll find out about eventually. His ears are gaged(sp) and he has his nose pierced for funsies, on the left side I believe.
He's found smiling most often and wears literally whatever he can find off of the street or is given to him by his friends. Some days he'll go in layers upon layers of clothes to keep warm. His eyes are bright but he's beginning to get dark circles under them, and not from a lack of sleep. On a normal day in the spring or the summer, it would be difficult to peg Jimmy as a homeless crack baby. But when he has on all his layers, it's not hard to see. He doesn't push around a shopping cart or anything like that, he just gets a bit more haggard in the winter and the fall. Basically he is a wholly unremarkable boy. On the outside, that is.

Nothing less, nothing more;;
optimistic
; Jimmy should have given up a long time ago, but he managed to adopt a good deal of optimism. It shines through him day after day and tends to inspire the people around him, while making the others wonder what the hell is wrong with him.
friendly
; He loves making friends. That sounds so stupid but Jim just adores meeting people and watching them and getting to know them. He has a tendency to find or search for the good in everyone and he has something to teach or offer everyone he knows.
strong
; There's no room in Jimmy's life for him to be emotionally weak. Living on the streets and dying slowly of AIDS, there's a good deal of strength to go along with the soft, kitten-loving boy.
encouraging
; A lot of people tend to believe they can't do something, for whatever silly reason. Jimmy is more than happy to tell them that they can, in fact, do those things. They can do whatever they want to do. They just have to do it.
scared
; Obviously he's allowed to be scared. There isn't a day that Jim doesn't wonder about what's going to happen, what death will be like, and when he'll finally have his last day on the Earth. He can't help but be terrified of the inevitable future.
naive
; Despite his rough past, Jim maintains a sort of childlike innocence. He has faith in everyone he meets and doles out second chances left and right.
AND I STILL GOT SOUL

Sexuality He says he's bisexual, but he's not a huge fan of girls

And I’ve been there, seen that, and I ain't taking you home;;
Some people were never meant to have children. They were selfish and careless and had nothing of the maternal instinct that parents were meant to have. Some people hadn't a clue that they weren't really cut out to be parents. Others did, and did it anyway. Marie and Shane knew they would be awful parents, but a kid was good for getting people on the street to pity them and give them money. More money meant more drugs, more drugs meant another week of life, if you could even call that life. So Jimmy was brought into the world. He was born on a Sunday in the bathroom of a grimy bar, and for ten years he was the pity object that raked in all the money for his parents.
At the pathetic age of twelve, his mother gave him his first hit of heroin. Obviously then they had no idea of his condition, but later on they would discover she was HIV positive, and in sharing that needle with her son, she transfered the illness to her only child. His mother died the next year, and his father went to jail two years later for breaking and entering, and then assaulting a cop.
From there on out, it was just Jimmy living off of whatever he could scrounge up. He went to a few foster families, but when they found out about his sickness, none of them felt up to the task of keeping him.
So he made his own way, living behind a bar in a broken old armoire picking up trash wherever he wandered about Portland and taking it in its disgusting form and changing it into something beautiful. He made tin sculptures out of old cans that were formed meticulously over a small fire, bent and shaped into dragons with heavy unfurled wings, flowers with fat bees alight on their petals, delicate cats with shimmering tails. He made purses out of discarded plastic bags. His street art earned him enough money to buy his reading glasses, needed to see the fine details of his works.
A year ago he got very ill, and some cops that were going by in their squad car took him to the hospital. His HIV had become full AIDS, and they gave him about a year to live without treatment, and even with treatment he would probably only last five years at the most, in his current condition. Jimmy lives every day as though it's his last, because for all he knows, it could be.
